SAP EWM Technical Lead

Overview

The SAP EWM Technical Lead will lead the design, development, integration, testing, and deployment of SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) solutions integrated with Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS). This role will oversee technical development, vendor coordination, and end-to-end integration between SAP S/4HANA, SAP EWM, and warehouse automation systems, ensuring quality delivery within project timelines.

Description:

• Lead SAP EWM technical design, development, and integration for ASRS warehouse automation solutions.
  
• Manage RICEFW developments, ABAP, BAdIs, SAP AIF, IDocs, APIs, web services, and middleware interfaces.
  
• Own ASRS integration with System Logistics Corporation (SLC) and other automation vendors.
  
• Oversee inbound and outbound processes, pallet movements, putaway, retrieval, inventory synchronization, warehouse tasks, and Handling Unit (HU) tracking.
  
• Lead technical design reviews, code reviews, unit testing, defect resolution, and deployment readiness.
  
• Coordinate vendor workshops, interface mapping, SIT, UAT, cutover, and hypercare activities.
  
• Collaborate with SAP functional teams, architects, integration teams, and business stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
  
• Maintain technical documentation, development standards, governance, risk mitigation, and project status reporting.
  

Requirements:

• 8+ years of SAP technical experience
  
• 5+ years of SAP EWM implementation experience.
  
• 3+ years of experience leading warehouse automation or ASRS integration projects.
  
• Strong expertise in SAP EWM, SAP S/4HANA, ABAP, BAdIs, enhancements, SAP AIF, and IDocs.
  
• Experience with APIs, web services, middleware, interface mapping, and error handling.
  
• Proven experience integrating SAP EWM with warehouse automation vendors such as System Logistics Corporation (SLC), Dematic, or Rockwell Intelligrated.
  
• Strong technical leadership, vendor management, problem-solving, communication, and project delivery skills.
  
• Experience supporting multi-site deployments, testing, cutover, and production hypercare.
