SAP Transit Warehouse

CDIT Solutions isseeking an SAP TM Transit Warehousing Specialist to support the JointTransportation Management System (JTMS) program for the United StatesTransportation Command (USTRANSCOM). You will lead the configuration,implementation, and support of complex TM-EWM integration scenarios within SAPS/4HANA, enabling transportation visibility, warehouse execution, yardoperations, and advanced shipping processes in a regulated federal environment. Key Responsibilities
TM-EWMIntegration & Transit Warehousing
• Lead end-to-end configuration and support forSAP TM Transit Warehousing, integrating Freight Order Management in SAP TM withTransit Warehousing functions in SAP EWM to support transportation planningthrough consignee delivery.
• Configure and maintain mapping between SAP TMfreight orders and SAP EWM delivery item types using the Customizing activityMap Freight Order to Delivery Item Type for Transit Warehouse(/SCWM/V_TWITMMAP), including assignment of order types, categories, andrelated warehouse request item types.
TransportationExecution (Classical TM-EWM Integration)
• Manage full outbound and inbound executionprocesses, including freight unit creation, planning, freight order creation,load plans, LDAP (Loading Appointment Request/Notification) handling, andtransportation execution status management.
SAP Fiori TMApplications
• Configure and administer TM Fiori apps such asDisplay Order-Based Transportation Requirement (/SCMTMS/TREQ_ORDB) and DisplayDelivery-Based Transportation Requirement (/SCMTMS/TREQ_DELB).
• Manage target mappings, business catalogs(SAP_TM_BC_LGINT), technical catalogs (SAP_TC_TM_BE_APPS), and business roleassignments (SAP_BR_TRANSPORTATION_MANAGER).
Advanced Shipping& Receiving
• Manage Advanced Shipping & Receiving (ASR)processes in SAP S/4HANA, enabling truck check-in, warehouse coordination,multi-warehouse handling within a single freight order, and integration acrossTM, EWM, STRM, MM-IM, and LE using harmonized data models and EDIFACTmessaging.
Yard &Transportation Unit Configuration
• Configure and support yard operations, includingTransportation Unit (TU) and vehicle master data, arrival/departure points, andsingle-TU vs. multi-TU vehicle representations.
IntegrationProfile & Process Governance
• Configure the EWM Integration Profile in SPRO(SCM EWM → Interfaces → TM Integration → Define EWM Integration Profile),including auto-instruction sending, unloading/loading guidance, and deltahandling.
• Document and manage known TM-EWM integrationlimitations (e.g., multi-delivery restrictions, serial number handlingconstraints, compartment handling, container units, outbound DO limitations).
Shipper Scenarios& Delivery Handling
• Support complex shipper scenarios, includingdelivery splits, batch handling, batch splits, reclaiming or reallocatingdeliveries between EWM TUs, carrier determination, and TM change requestprocessing.
Solution Guidance& Transition Support
• Advise stakeholders on SAP S/4HANATransportation Management capability tiers (LE-TRA Basic Shipping, basic TM,Advanced TM).
• Support transitions from LE-TRA to S/4HANA TMaligned with compatibility scope timelines.
Quality,Compliance & Issue Resolution
• Support federal compliance, configurationmanagement, and change-control practices.
• Troubleshoot TM Transit Warehousing issues,including LDAP failures, freight order execution status errors, EWM TUcancellation issues, and delivery-based transportation requirement updatefailures.
• Follow SAP support case best practices for issuedocumentation, component selection, and landscape details.

Required qualifications

• U.S. citizenship.
• Active Secret clearance. Clearance must beactive, in scope, and held in DISS prior to start.
• 5+ years of SAP TM experience, including 3+years dedicated to SAP TM Transit Warehousing and TM-EWM integration.
• Demonstrated experience with SAP S/4HANA CloudPrivate Edition and SAP Fiori, including TM Fiori app configuration.
• Strong proficiency in SAP TM Transit Warehousingconfiguration (freight order types, EWM document types, item types).
• Proficiency in TM-EWM integration, includingLDAP processing, freight order execution, transportation unit management, andEWM Integration Profile configuration.
• Experience with SAP Fiori TransportationManagement apps such as /SCMTMS/TREQ_ORDB and /SCMTMS/TREQ_DELB, businesscatalogs (SAP_TM_BC_LGINT), and business roles (SAP_BR_TRANSPORTATION_MANAGER).
• Advanced knowledge of Shipping & Receivingprocesses and integration across TM, EWM, STRM, MM-IM, and LE.
• Understanding of SAP TM capability tiers andTM-FWM (Freight and Warehouse Management) component behavior. Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting federal agencies, defenseprograms, or government contracting environments.
• Familiarity with SAP EWM Yard Management, TUconfiguration, and vehicle hierarchy setup.
• Excellent communication andstakeholder-management skills suited to client-facing government program work. Location, Travel & Compliance
• Remote, with approximately 10% travel every 12weeks to Scott Air Force Base, IL. Candidates within a 4-hour radius of ScottAFB are preferred.
• DoD 8140 compliance is required. A technicalbachelor's or master's degree is the simplest path; other qualifying optionsinclude an approved certification or required training.
