Job Description
Job Title: Configuration Management Analyst
Location: Arnold AFB, Tennessee (Fairly close to Huntsville, AL) 3 days onsite per week
Clearance Required: Secret
Rate: $90,000 Direct Hire (some flex not much) will pay full relocation expenses
Top Requirements
Some practical experience or foundational knowledge of Configuration Management
Experience managing or controlling engineering/design drawings or technical documentation
Understanding of document/drawing lifecycle and revision/change control
Comfortable working directly with technical, engineering, design, and/or construction personnel
Able and willing to work onsite at Arnold AFB at least 3 days/week
Able to pass the required background check for base access
The Opportunity
Support Department of Defense programs by applying Configuration Management (CM) principles to engineering documentation, technical data, and program artifacts. Assisting with maintaining configuration baselines, processing engineering changes, supporting CCB’s, and ensuring program documentation complies with CM standards. Review, track, archive, and distribute configurate controlled documentation while coordinating with engineering and program teams to ensure timely and accurate execution of CM activities.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience working with minimal supervision as a Configuration Management (CM) specialist
1+ years of experience reviewing government documents, briefs, and engineering drawings
Experience working with Configuration Management Professional (CMPRO)
Experience working with Microsoft products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Experience working with Adobe Acrobat Professional for document assembly and editing
Ability to travel 10% of the time
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED and 2+ years of experience with CM, or Bachelor's degree and 1+ years of experience with CM
Nice to Have Skills
Experience with Teamcenter
Experience with engineering or hardware CM
Knowledge of technical data for the design, operation, and maintenance of complex systems
Knowledge of other system engineering disciplines
Knowledge of Cameo and Inventor
Configuration Management (CM) Certification
