The Mission Liaison / Analyst Lead translates mission needs into actionable requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, training objectives, and release communications. The position also owns the User Training Plan and user collaboration and feedback process, ensuring that mission-owner input remains traceable through design, development, testing, training, acceptance, and release.
This position is remote, with Chicago-area candidates preferred.
Note: By applying to this position, you acknowledge and consent to having your resume included in an active competitive government contract bid.

- Elicit, analyze, document, validate, and manage functional and mission requirements.
- Decompose mission needs into clear, measurable, testable, and traceable requirements.
- Develop and refine user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, workflows, and related functional documentation.
- Assess backlog readiness and work with delivery teams to prepare requirements for sprint planning and implementation.
- Maintain end-to-end traceability among mission needs, requirements, user stories, design decisions, acceptance criteria, test results, training materials, and released capabilities.
- Coordinate mission-owner input for Concepts of Operations (CONOPS), requirements packages, interface considerations, and solution-development activities.
- Own and maintain the User Training Plan in coordination with Government representatives, technical subject matter experts, trainers, and release teams.
- Coordinate the development and review of user guides, job aids, release notes, training materials, and other user-facing documentation.
- Establish and manage structured user collaboration, feedback, and validation processes throughout the software-development lifecycle.
- Facilitate requirements workshops, backlog-refinement sessions, user reviews, demonstrations, and feedback sessions.
- Coordinate user acceptance criteria and support user acceptance, operational validation, and release-readiness activities.
- Translate user feedback and operational lessons learned into prioritized requirements, backlog updates, and improvement recommendations.
- Coordinate release communications with Government mission owners, users, training personnel, and technical teams.
- Identify requirements gaps, conflicting stakeholder needs, dependencies, and traceability risks and drive them to resolution.
- Support Agile planning, sprint reviews, demonstrations, retrospectives, and release-planning activities.
- Ensure mission requirements and user needs remain aligned with system architecture, integration requirements, scalability objectives, and operational priorities.
- Prepare briefings, status updates, decision materials, meeting minutes, and other program documentation.
- Support continuous improvement of requirements-management, stakeholder-engagement, training, and user-feedback practices.
