💲 Pay Rate: $24.00/hour
✅ Contract-to-Hire Opportunity
🕓 1st Shift: Monday - Friday | 4:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Job Summary
Join a fast-paced forging and manufacturing environment where you'll assist in forging operations, material handling, equipment operation, and production support. This is a hands-on position ideal for candidates who enjoy physical work and working with industrial equipment.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Transfer and lift metal parts between furnaces, hammers, anvils, and workstations
✔ Assist with hole punching operations and forging processes
✔ Rotate, flip, and position materials during hammer operations
✔ Remove scale from workpieces and mark materials using metal stamps
✔ Apply graphite, coal, and lubricants throughout the forging process
✔ Measure parts to ensure specifications and proper fit
✔ Set up sizing equipment
✔ Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and manipulators
✔ Refuel propane-powered equipment
✔ Grind finished parts using portable and stationary grinders
✔ Maintain housekeeping, organization, and workplace safety standards
✔ Follow all company procedures, work instructions, and safety policies
Qualifications
✅ High School Diploma or GED
✅ 6-12 months of related manufacturing, production, warehouse, or industrial experience preferred
✅ Ability to operate forklifts and powered industrial equipment safely
✅ Strong math skills including basic algebra and geometry
✅ Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors
✅ Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly
✅ Comfortable standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and working in an industrial environment
