Senior Software Engineer

Our client seeks multiple Software Development resources to build and maintain Java-centric, cloud-native services within a secure, regulated environment. This role involves designing, developing, and deploying high-availability, scalable applications using modern technologies and methodologies.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable, high-performance Java applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and coding standards
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to resolve issues
• Implement automated testing frameworks to ensure code quality
• Contribute to architectural discussions and technology selection
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency in Java and related frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, etc.)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Knowledge of database systems (SQL, NoSQL)
• Familiarity with security best practices and compliance requirements
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
