Job Description
***This is a 12+ month W2 contract with insurance benefits offerings, if needed. There is good opportunity for contract extension or possible direct hire conversion as well***
We are seeking an Embedded Software Engineer with Cryptographic experience for our San Diego-based Aerospace Client. In this role you will design, develop, integrate and test software for our end-user customers and businesses, primarily focused on cryptographic software code bases. Specifically, you will be responsible for the design, architecture, development, and administration of embedded and real time systems.
Required Qualifications:
*Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM field with 5+ years of relevant experience (or Master's with 3+ years).
*Strong C/C++ programming experience developing embedded and real-time software.
*Experience developing and implementing cryptographic software and encryption mechanisms.
*Familiarity with HAIPE, OTNK, and/or IKE.
*Experience with Yocto, PetaLinux, or Wind River Linux.
*Experience with Xilinx platforms (Zynq, UltraScale+, Versal).
*Knowledge of TCP/IP networking and communication protocols.
*Experience with embedded firmware integration, multithreading, debugging, and software testing.
*Familiarity with Agile development, Git, Jira, and Bitbucket.
