Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Infrastructure Automation Engineer to join our team in Middlefield, CT. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automation solutions for infrastructure systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement automation scripts and tools for infrastructure management
• Integrate automation solutions with existing systems and platforms
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of automation solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation systems
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure automation and DevOps practices
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong understanding of networking and security principles
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in a relevant field
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform)
