Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Infrastructure Automation Engineer to join our team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure automation, cloud technologies, and DevOps practices. This role requires a proactive individual who can design, develop, and implement automation solutions to enhance our infrastructure capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement automation solutions for infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure scalability, security, and reliability of automated infrastructure deployments.
• Monitor and troubleshoot automated systems to identify and resolve issues promptly.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in infrastructure automation and cloud technologies.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers in automation best practices and tool usage.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in infrastructure automation and cloud technologies.
• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
• Experience with security best practices and compliance standards.

Clearance Requirement: Secret clearance required.
