Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Infrastructure Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure automation, cloud technologies, and DevOps practices. This role requires a deep understanding of automation tools, scripting languages, and cloud platforms to design, develop, and implement automated solutions that enhance system efficiency and reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline infrastructure processes.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to integrate automation into the software development lifecycle.
• Monitor and optimize automated systems to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation scripts and tools.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in infrastructure automation and DevOps.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers in automation best practices and methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure automation and DevOps practices.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, or Chef.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Active Secret clearance required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Nagios.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Certification in cloud platforms or automation tools (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Terraform Associate).
