Job Title: System Administrator Tier III
Location: NSA, Bahrain

Job Responsibilities

The System Administrator Tier I I I Support position will be responsible for maintaining and operating a computer system and/or network.

• Possess expert-level knowledge in deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Windows Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and Domain Name Service (DNS).

• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Windows Server operating systems, including Windows Server 2008(R2) and Windows Server 2003.

• Strong experience in the deployment, administration, and troubleshooting of Microsoft Exchange environments, specifically Exchange 2003 and Exchange 2010.

• Working knowledge of backup solutions, including Symantec Backup Exec and NetApp SIPR/NIPR Access Point (SNAP) Manager.

• Skilled in assessing and applying vendor security patches and updates.

• Proficient with enterprise storage technologies such as Storage Area Networks (SAN) and Network Attached Storage (NAS).

• Experience with server performance optimization and use of monitoring tools.

• Competent in utilizing server configuration and management platforms, including Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) and System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).

• Solid network troubleshooting capabilities and foundational networking knowledge.

• Capable of producing clear and detailed technical documentation.

• Familiar with developing and executing action plans for both planned and unplanned changes to network infrastructure.

Minimum Qualifications

• Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance (Interim Secret Clearance is acceptable) .

• Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required .
• Candidates must meet the applicable DoD 8140 qualification requirements for the assigned work role. DoD 8140 Work Role(s): 451 - System Administrator, Advanced; and may qualify through education, military training, certifications, or a combination thereof.
• Qualifying 8140 credentials include a Masters or Ph.D degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Software Engineering or completion of relevant military communications or network training.
• Qualifying 8140 certifications may include SecurityX / CASP+, CCNP Security, CCSP, FITSP-O, GFACT or other DoD 8140-approved certifications. Higher proficiency-level or equivalent DoD 8140-approved certifications applicable to the assigned work role may also be accepted.

• Minimum of three (3) years of hands-on experience in Windows Server 2003 and Exchange 2003 systems administration.

• At least two (2) years of experience in a military environment.

• Must hold one (1) of the following certifications: SecurityX/CASP+, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP , CISSA , GCED, GCIH, or CCSP.

• Able to travel to support mission up to 10%.

Education

• Bachelor' s degree in Computer Science , OR An associate's degree plus seven (7) total years of recent specialized experience , OR a certification plus seven (7) years of recent specialized experience , OR eleven ( 1 1 ) total years of recent specialized experience.
