Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Access Control Patrol Driver Security Clearance in Clearfield, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position offers the opportunity to support a mission-focused environment while working with an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, perimeter areas, parking locations, and other assigned areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials or authorization as directed, and help protect controlled areas and sensitive property from unauthorized access.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and promptly, following site-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortably use a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
