Senior Full Stack Java Developer
Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer to build, modernize, and support enterprise software applications. This position requires extensive Java backend development experience combined with modern React frontend capabilities and strong database knowledge.
The engineer will contribute across requirements, architecture, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing application support within an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, React, and PostgreSQL.
Create secure and scalable backend services and RESTful APIs.
Develop reusable frontend components using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and CSS.
Design and maintain PostgreSQL databases, schemas, and queries.
Optimize database performance and application data access.
Support data migration between legacy and modernized systems.
Maintain data integrity throughout application and database modernization efforts.
Support application deployments, source control, and CI/CD pipelines.
Participate throughout the full software development lifecycle.
Apply applicable application security and accessibility standards.
Participate in Agile/Scrum and Kanban development activities.
Required Qualifications
8+ years of professional software development experience.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
Strong React frontend development experience.
Strong experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and CSS.
Hands-on experience with:
Java
Spring Framework
Spring Security 6+
Spring Boot 3+
Hibernate 6+
PostgreSQL
SQL / PL-SQL
RESTful APIs
Maven
Git / GitLab
Experience designing database schemas and supporting data migration initiatives.
