Structural Engineer

***This is a 12+ month W2 contract with insurance benefits offerings, if needed. There is good opportunity for contract extension or possible direct hire conversion as well***

We are seeking an experienced Structural Analysis Engineer for our Dallas/Plano-based Aerospace Client to support the design, analysis, and certification of advanced aerospace and defense structures.

**Required Qualifications:**
-Must Be a U.S. Citizen. - The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required.
- Bachelor's Engineering or a related discipline. Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
- 2+ years of relevant engineering experience.
-Thorough understanding of structural analysis and design principles.
-Understanding of engineering principles and practices.
-Ability to work in multi-disciplinary design and development teams.
-Experience with Static Analyses.
-Knowledge of Computer Aided Engineering tools.
-Experience in Engineering Simulation using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools.

**Preferred Qualifications:**
-Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry.
-Ability to perform classical analysis using industry standard hand calculation methods.
-Experience performing fatigue and damage tolerance analysis utilizing tools such as NASGRO or AFGROW.
-Familiarity with FAA, NASA, and/or DoD design and construction regulations.
