Master Inventory and Replenishment: Advise on NEX-specific inventory management and replenishment strategies, including direct store delivery (DSD), cross-docking, and allocation of goods to stores worldwide.
Support Financial Audit & Reporting: Ensure the system provides accurate sales and margin reporting, supports the unique financial closing process for a NAF Instrumentality, and maintains a clear audit trail for all transactions.
System Integration & Retail Strategy:
Lead "Fit-to-Standard" Workshops for NEX Operations: Translate NEX business rules for merchandising, pricing, promotions, and loss prevention into standard SAP Retail processes.
Oversee Integration with NEX Systems: Manage the functional design of interfaces between S/4HANA/CAR and external NEX systems, including e-commerce platforms, warehouse management systems (WMS), and payment processors.
Guide Master Data Strategy: Oversee the strategy for managing NEX-specific master data, including a complex article master with variants (size/color), vendor data, and customer information for loyalty programs.
Execute Data Migration Strategy: Oversee the conversion of legacy NEX sales, inventory, and master data into the S/4HANA and CAR environment.
Stakeholder Leadership:
Serve as a Trusted Advisor to NEX Leadership: Provide guidance on how SAP Retail/CAR can improve operational efficiency, enhance customer experience, and provide better analytics for merchandising and store performance.
Mentor Functional Consultants: Provide training on NEX business terminology, operational procedures, and the specific challenges of military retail.
Drive Process Innovation: Identify opportunities to leverage SAP solutions for omnichannel retailing, enabling processes like "buy online, pick up in store" and providing a unified view of the customer across all channels.
Basic Qualifications:
Extensive experience with large-scale retail systems, preferably SAP Retail, CAR, or S/4HANA for Retail.
Subject Matter Expertise in retail operations, particularly in merchandising, store operations, and supply chain for a multi-channel retailer.
