DevSecOps Engineer

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to support a company focused on delivering secure modernization solutions for federal and national security programs. This position is on-site in Huntsville, AL. The DevSecOps Engineer will design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and cloud-native deployment solutions supporting mission-critical applications across AWS and hybrid environments. Responsibilities for the DevSecOps Engineer include:

• Design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines supporting automated testing, security scanning, and application deployments
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, CloudFormation, and other automation tools
• Integrate security controls, compliance validation, vulnerability scanning, and audit reporting into development pipelines
• Support AWS cloud environments, containerized applications, Kubernetes orchestration, and deployment automation
• Collaborate with software engineers, cloud teams, QA automation, and product stakeholders to improve deployment reliability and operational efficiency

Required Qualifications for the DevSecOps Engineer include:

• 8+ years of experience in DevSecOps, CI/CD engineering, infrastructure automation, or secure software delivery environments
• Experience with CI/CD tools including GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS, and automation scripting
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, collaboration, and secure development lifecycle experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• Active Top Secret Security Clearance

Compensation for the DevSecOps Engineer include:

• Salary Range: $160,000 - $170,000 depending on experience
• Full Benefits Package: PTO, Paid Holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Tuition Reimbursement, Sick Leave as required by law
