Summary:
• Conduct threat hunt operations, analyze network traffic, and support operational requirements using defensive cyber operations and data science techniques.
• Build intuitive data visualizations and apply statistical modeling to uncover hidden patterns and evaluate data streams.
• Utilize Python, SQL, Splunk, Wireshark, and cloud platforms to detect vulnerabilities, track emerging threats, and deliver automated capabilities.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 9+ years
• Total Compensation: $274k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Conduct threat hunt operations across big data platforms and present analytical findings to diverse stakeholders.
• Collaborate with operational teams to collect requirements, define operational gaps, and generate functional use cases.
• Perform data enrichment, quality assurance checks, and evaluate new data feeds for platform usability and analytic integrity.
• Leverage statistical modeling, hypothesis testing, and operational research to synthesize complex data streams into intuitive dashboards.
• Develop, test, and deploy threat detection signatures utilizing SIEM, SOAR, and network traffic analysis tools.
• Provide technical support, platform documentation, and comprehensive training to end users on coordination tools.
Telework:
This position offers a hybrid schedule requiring on-site work up to four days per week with telework flexibility.
