Job Description
DCS is seeking a High-Frequency (HF) Analysis & Training Support Analyst to provide mission-critical analytical production, operational support, and analyst training for NASIC's High Frequency (HF) intelligence mission. This position supports both daily HF analysis and reporting and the NASIC Analyst Training & Certification Program as the organization transitions from legacy manual workflows to a modernized, AI/ML-enabled PED environment. The analyst will work closely with Government personnel, leveraging both legacy and modernized tools to extract, validate, and disseminate HF radar data products while helping shape next-generation human-machine teaming tradecraft.
In this role, the analyst will serve as a primary operational user of NASIC's HF PED systems, performing integrated analysis, multi-layered production, and real-world mission support. Daily responsibilities include routine HF radar metric analysis, pattern-of-life development, and characterization of Scientific & Technical Intelligence (S&TI) events, ensuring data quality and mission continuity across NASIC and Forward Collection Site (FCS) operations. The analyst will also contribute to mission planning, production management, verification/validation of the digital data analysis chain, and cross-site analytical deconfliction.
Essential Job Functions:
Provide HF Analysis, Production & Mission Support
Conduct routine analysis of HF data collections to extract HF radar metric data using legacy and modernized PED tools.
Produce integrated, multi-layered analytical products including Event Packages (EPs), Event Trending Reports (ETRs), and technical reports for HF mission customers.
Perform Pattern-of-Life (PoL) analysis to characterize target behaviors and operational activity during real-world scenarios.
Analyze S&TI events to characterize weapons and aircraft capabilities during testing and real-world operations.
Execute quality control of all analytical reports to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with Government requirements.
Provide verification and validation feedback for both legacy and modernized PED digital workflows, including AI/ML components.
Coordinate analytical findings across NASIC and the IC to ensure unified reporting, eliminate duplication, and maintain synchronized tradecraft.
Analyst Training & Certification
Deliver instruction on HF sensor theory, analytical workflows, PED system operations (legacy & modernized), geographic points of interest, and QC procedures.
Train analysts on mission support functions including mission planning and production management.
Develop and standardize human-machine teaming TTPs that define the shift from manual data extraction to validation of automated outputs.
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Must have an active TS/SCI clearance.
Bachelor's degree in a STEM, intelligence, or related discipline with 8 years of experience.
Experience in intelligence analysis, HF radar data exploitation, PED system operations, or similar analytical domains.
Ability to perform technical QC, produce finished intelligence, and validate automated analytical outputs.
Strong instructional skills for delivering structured training, curriculum development, and documentation.
Desired Skills:
Prior NASIC or DoD intelligence community experience.
Experience with automated exploitation tools, PED modernization efforts, or HF radar systems.
Background in PoL analysis, S&TI characterization, or digital workflow verification.
Experience developing SOPs, TTPs, or training pipelines for analytical organizations.
Familiarity with AI/ML-enabled analytical workflows and human-machine teaming concepts.
