Job Description
The Design Engineer will support our government customers' global enterprise networks. Network Architecture provides solutions for modernizing the network components while supporting service delivery for customer requirements in a mission-focused operational enterprise. Additionally, the candidate must have experience with hands-on router engineering and/or operation.

The salary range for this role is $128,000 - $145,000. This range is a good faith estimate that reflects various experience levels. The job duties of the Design Engineer are as follows:
- Responsibility for the Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) Wide Area Network (WAN) overall architecture
- Developing MPLS WAN services solution
- Performing lab equipment evaluation, integration, and testing
- Assisting with the security accreditation process
- Developing and maintaining relevant technical documentation
- On as-needed basis, the engineer with also be responsible for supporting Tier-4 production troubleshooting and developing pro-active network analysis solution for the operations team
Required Skills
- Must have sixteen (16) years of experience that can be a combination of work history and education. This equates to a Doctorate and eight (8) years, Bachelor's and twelve (12) years, Associates and fourteen (14) years or HS diploma and sixteen (16) years.
- Must be compliant with DoD 8140 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required.
