Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structures Mechanic to join our team at Beale Air Force Base, CA. This position requires a Secret clearance and offers an opportunity to work on critical aerospace projects.

Responsibilities:

• Perform structural inspections and maintenance on aircraft and aerospace components
• Repair and replace aircraft structures, including wings, fuselage, and empennage
• Fabricate and install aircraft components using hand tools and power tools
• Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) to identify material defects
• Document all work performed and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure project completion

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Structures Mechanic or similar role
• Secret clearance required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
• Strong understanding of aircraft structures and materials
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and NDT equipment
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on military aircraft
• Knowledge of FAA regulations and military maintenance procedures
• Certification in NDT methods (e.g., ultrasonic, magnetic particle)
