Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structures Mechanic with a Secret clearance for an exciting opportunity at Beale Air Force Base, CA. This position is critical to ensuring the safety, airworthiness, and operational readiness of aircraft and structures.

Responsibilities:

• Perform structural inspections, repairs, and modifications on aircraft and related structures.
• Utilize various tools and equipment to fabricate, assemble, and repair aircraft components.
• Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) to identify defects and ensure structural integrity.
• Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to develop and implement maintenance procedures.
• Maintain detailed records of all work performed and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.
• Participate in continuous training and professional development to stay current with industry advancements.

Qualifications:

• Active Secret clearance required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in aircraft structures preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in aircraft structural maintenance or related field.
• Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, as well as NDT equipment.
• Strong understanding of aircraft structural principles and materials.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with specific aircraft types or structures relevant to Beale AFB operations.
• Knowledge of FAA regulations and military maintenance standards.
• Previous experience working on classified or sensitive projects.
