In this position, you will align closely with business units, system administrators, and engineering squads to roll out adaptable software applications and automate complex operational procedures. Core Duties & Responsibilities
Platform Engineering: Architect, build, and deploy custom applications, forms, automated workflows, and user interfaces tailored to organizational goals.
Modernization: Track evolving technology trends and newly released platform features to introduce modern automation strategies.
Squad Collaboration: Team up with system administrators and technical peers to troubleshoot platform issues, implement updates, and manage system changes.
Requirement Gathering: Interview stakeholders and translate functional business requests into clear, actionable technical specifications.
Continuous Improvement: Isolate structural bottlenecks, system bugs, or operational inefficiencies and engineer sustainable fixes.
Design Standards: Author code and configure modules following strict architectural blueprints to preserve platform scalability and clean code hygiene.
Instance Control: Oversee and sync configuration states across all development sandboxes, staging environments, and production systems.
Release Workflows: Help build out predictable, repeatable build pipelines, deployment steps, and release management strategies.
Tier-3 Support: Provide ongoing operational troubleshooting, production bug fixes, and direct support to end-users on custom integrations.
Sprint Participation: Engage fully in Agile/Scrum ceremonies alongside project managers and cross-functional teams to hit delivery milestones.
Data Integration: Construct secure data exchanges and bridge communication between the platform and external corporate databases or APIs.
Code Quality: Mentor junior engineering talent and run peer code reviews to maintain high development standards.
Interface Design: Apply modern UI/UX principles to enhance the visual layout, accessibility, and general user experience of applications.
DevOps Pipelines: Integrate version control tools and utilize CI/CD strategies across all phases of the software development lifecycle.
Technical Records: Produce and maintain comprehensive technical schemas, configuration manuals, and architectural diagrams.
Professional Qualifications
Security Clearance: Must be a US citizen holding an Active Secret Security Clearance.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, or equivalent technical experience.
Professional Longevity: Minimum of 5 years of software engineering experience, specifically focused on platform development.
Custom App Scoping: Verified track record of creating custom scoped applications from scratch within the ecosystem.
Automation Tooling: Extensive hands-on experience utilizing Application Engine, Flow Designer, and native workflow automation utilities.
Case Tracking: Practical experience customizing, maintaining, and scaling Case Management or closely related platform modules.
Certifications: Certified System Administrator (CSA) status is mandatory; Certified Application Developer (CAD) credentials are highly valued.
Advanced Deployments: Experience taking applications past initial MVP delivery through iterative updates, unit testing, and rollout documentation.
