Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered.
Summary:
• Provide operational software application support and systems engineering within Linux environments.
• Ensure the stability, continuous uptime, and optimal performance of mission-critical applications.
• Troubleshoot complex technical errors, analyze logs, and coordinate fixes across engineering teams.
• Maintain dataflow and operational components using Apache NiFi, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Docker, and AWS.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 10+ years
• Total Compensation: $254k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Start, stop, diagnose, and maintain services running in Linux environments via command-line administration.
• Provide operational support for applications leveraging Apache NiFi, Docker, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and AWS EC2 instances.
• Proactively monitor application performance, database availability, and system health checks to maximize reliability.
• Investigate and troubleshoot software errors, analyze log files, and identify root causes to ensure rapid resolution.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, common issue resolution guides, and user guides using Jira and Confluence.
• Deliver after-hours on-call support as needed to maintain application and dataflow operations.
