Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structures Mechanic to join our team at Beale Air Force Base, CA. This position requires a Secret clearance and offers an exciting opportunity to work on critical aerospace maintenance and repair projects.

Responsibilities:

• Perform structural inspections, repairs, and modifications on aircraft and aerospace components.
• Utilize various hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to fabricate, assemble, and repair aircraft structures.
• Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) to identify cracks, corrosion, and other structural defects.
• Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure aircraft airworthiness and compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain detailed records of all work performed, including parts used, tools employed, and any issues encountered.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in aircraft maintenance or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Structures Mechanic or in a similar role, preferably in an aerospace environment.
• Secret clearance required.
• Strong understanding of aircraft structural systems and materials.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and NDT equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on specific aircraft types (e.g., B-1B, B-2, KC-10, KC-46, KC-135, KC-137).
• Knowledge of FAA regulations and military maintenance standards.
• Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) and maintenance documentation systems.
