Eagle Harbor, LLC is actively seeking a Explosives Safety Officer to support course engagements in Huntsville, AL.

Description:

• Responsible for all of the explosives stored and used in the delivery of the Homemade Explosives (HME) course.
  
• Follows the accepted guidelines to include Federal laws and regulations, NCETR policies and procedures, ATF directives and handbooks, general reference materials and explosives industry practices.
  
• Responsible for the accurate inventory of explosives, incendiary, or any other energetic materials and maintains adequate inventories of the required explosives and related supplies.
  
• Initiates the purchase of explosives, consumable supplies and other related materials when required.
  
• Acts as the Range Safety Officer during demonstrations and live fire exercises and demonstrates the safe storage, handling, and destruction of explosive, incendiary or energetic materials, prepares for and conducts explosives demonstrations, including the preparation and handling of improvised explosives mixtures, and conducts explosive disposal exercises and demo range clean up.
  

Minimum Qualifications:

• U.S. citizenship
  
• Eligible for both US Tourist Passport and US Official Passport
  
• Able to obtain a Secret government clearance.
  
• Must be able to pass agency clearance
  
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check
  
• Must not be prohibited for possessing and transferring explosive materials as defined in Title 18, United States Code, Section 1102, Chapter 40.
  
• Microsoft Office Suite qualifications.
  
• Experience mitigating HME Scenes domestically or abroad
  
• Must have held one of the following certifications:
  
  • Certified Explosives Specialist, ATF.
    
  • Hazardous Device School, FBI.
    
  • Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician, DoD (United States or foreign)
    
  • Special Forces Qualification Course (Engineer/Explosive/Demolition).
    
    
• Preferred: Graduate of ATF HME or equivalent course (determined by HME PM)
