Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain MUMPS-based applications and software systems.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex application and production issues.
- Develop enhancements and new functionality for healthcare and enterprise applications.
- Support modifications to existing MUMPS routines, understanding global/data structures, FileMan/VistA architecture, dependencies, and downstream impacts.
- Collaborate with team members to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to code reviews and sprint planning.
- Mentor junior developers and share technical knowledge to improve team capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on MUMPS software development experience.
- Experience supporting VA VistA or similar Veterans Affairs healthcare systems.
- Strong understanding of MUMPS architecture, globals, and FileMan.
- Ability to modify existing MUMPS routines with a focus on legacy code changes.
- Experience designing and implementing APIs and integrating MUMPS applications with modern systems.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
Salary Range
$105,000.00 - $145,000.00
