Logistics Intern

Description

CenCore is seeking a Logistics Intern for a full-time, hourly, on-site internship at company headquarters in Springville, Utah. Pay is $18 to $22 per hour, depending on experience. This hands-on internship provides practical exposure to inventory control, shipping and receiving, asset tracking, purchasing coordination, and logistics recordkeeping across multiple contracts. The intern will work under direct supervision and receive guidance while completing assigned logistics support tasks. Prior logistics experience is not required. No security clearance is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with tracking inventory, equipment, uniforms, supplies, and related assets under the direction of logistics personnel.
• Support receipt of shipments by checking contents, recording discrepancies, and organizing materials.
• Prepare and maintain shipping, receiving, inventory, and distribution records.
• Assist with packaging, labeling, staging, and distribution of equipment and supplies.
• Provide administrative support for purchasing requests by gathering information, organizing documentation, and tracking outstanding needs.
• Communicate shipment updates, stock shortages, and documentation issues to designated personnel.
• Participate in inventory counts and help reconcile records with guidance from logistics personnel.
• Follow applicable company procedures for safety, confidentiality, asset control, and materials handling.
