Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structures Mechanic to join our team at Beale Air Force Base, CA. This position requires a Secret clearance and offers an exciting opportunity to work on critical aerospace maintenance and repair projects.

Responsibilities:

• Perform structural inspections, repairs, and modifications on aircraft components and airframes.
• Utilize various hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to fabricate, assemble, and install structural components.
• Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) to identify cracks, corrosion, and other defects.
• Collaborate with other mechanics and engineers to develop and implement repair procedures.
• Maintain detailed records of all work performed, including parts used, tools employed, and any deviations from standard procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, quality standards, and Air Force directives.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in aircraft structures preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Structures Mechanic or in a related field.
• Secret clearance required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
• Strong understanding of aircraft structural principles and materials.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on specific aircraft types (e.g., B-52, KC-10, etc.)
• Knowledge of FAA regulations and Air Force maintenance procedures.
• Experience with non-destructive testing techniques.
