Active Directory Exchange Specialist

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Active Directory & Exchange Specialist to support a defense-focused enterprise IT environment responsible for secure communications and systems administration within a mission-critical government network. This position is onsite in Quantico, VA. The Active Directory & Exchange Specialist will provide administration, troubleshooting, and operational support for Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange environments supporting secure network operations. Join a team that directly supports essential communications and infrastructure services for a high-visibility mission environment. This is supporting shift work Wednesday-Saturday 0600-1600.

Responsibilities for the Active Directory & Exchange Specialist include:

• Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange environments.
• Respond to incidents and service requests related to user accounts, email services, group policies, and directory services.
• Provide operational support for SIPR network infrastructure and enterprise messaging systems.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and security compliance across supported environments.
• Collaborate with engineering and cybersecurity teams to resolve escalated system issues and implement enhancements.

Required Qualifications for the Active Directory & Exchange Specialist include:

• 6+ years of experience in Systems Administration.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange.
• Experience supporting enterprise-level secure network environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, user support, and systems maintenance skills.
• IAT Level III certification required (SecurityX, CISSP, or equivalent DoD-approved certification).
• Active Top Secret clearance required.

Compensation for the Active Directory & Exchange Specialist includes:

• Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000 depending on experience
