Summary:
• Experienced Test Engineer supporting research and development through rigorous baseline, integration, system, and regression software testing.
• Responsible for developing automated Python test scripts, building lab environments, and testing against complex telephony and networking hardware platforms.
• Utilizes Linux, Splunk, Jenkins, and Agile methodologies to evaluate software performance and analyze large log datasets.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 8+ years
• Required Certifications: Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Systems Planning, Research, Development, and Engineering (SPRDE) Level 2 or DAWIA Test and Evaluation (TE) Level 2
• Total Compensation: $280k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Conduct software testing following formal methodologies across telephony and networking hardware spanning multiple hardware platforms.
• Perform baseline, integration, system, and regression level testing in support of R&D efforts.
• Write and execute automated test scripts using Python.
• Analyze large log data sets and software test data with Splunk and Linux tools, documenting test results clearly and concisely.
• Configure and maintain continuous integration pipelines using Jenkins/Hudson.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development cycles, requirements analysis, and system verification activities.
