Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Structures Mechanic to join our team at Beale Air Force Base, CA. This position requires a Secret security clearance and offers an exciting opportunity to work on critical aerospace maintenance and repair projects.

Responsibilities:

• Perform structural inspections, repairs, and modifications on aircraft and aerospace components.
• Utilize various hand tools and power tools to fabricate, assemble, and repair aircraft structures.
• Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) to identify cracks, corrosion, and other structural defects.
• Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure aircraft airworthiness.
• Maintain detailed records of all work performed and parts used.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• Secret security clearance (must be active and maintained).
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or associate degree in aircraft maintenance technology or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in aircraft structural maintenance.
• Proficiency with aircraft structural repair techniques and materials.
• Strong understanding of aircraft structural integrity and load factors.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and climbing.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with specific aircraft types (e.g., B-1B, KC-10A, F-16, F-22, F-23).
• Certification in non-destructive testing (NDT) methods.
• Experience working in a military or government contractor environment.
