Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structures Mechanic to join our team at Beale Air Force Base, CA. This position requires a Secret clearance and offers an exciting opportunity to work on critical aerospace maintenance and repair projects.

Responsibilities:

• Perform structural inspections, repairs, and modifications on aircraft components and systems
• Utilize precision measuring tools to ensure proper fit and function of structural components
• Fabricate and install structural components using hand and power tools
• Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) to identify cracks, corrosion, and other defects
• Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure timely completion of aircraft maintenance tasks
• Maintain detailed records of all work performed and parts used
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Structures Mechanic or related field
• Secret clearance required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
• Proficient in the use of hand and power tools
• Strong understanding of aircraft structural systems and materials
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on military aircraft
• Knowledge of FAA and DoD maintenance regulations
• Experience with NDT techniques such as ultrasonic, magnetic particle, and dye penetrant
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
