Role Description
This is a part-time Pricing Specialist position.

Applicants must be residents of VA, NC, MD, GA, AL, or FL and have an active secret clearance.

The Pricing Specialist will develop, model, and optimize compliant, competitive pricing structures for federal, state, and local government contract proposals. This role ensures all financial responses satisfy strict request for proposal (RFP) requirements, aligns with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) standards, and balance aggressive market competitiveness with company profitability.

Responsibilities will include:
• Cost & Price Proposal Development: Build complex, Excel-based cost models and pricing templates tailored to varying contract structures, including Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), Time & Materials (T&M), and Cost-Plus (CPFF/CPAF) models.
• Analyze RFP solicitation documents to identify compliance requirements, ensuring all submissions adhere to requirements and solicitation instructions.
• Collaborate with program managers and technical subject matter experts to gather, validate, and document labor hours, bill-of-materials (BOM), travel, and ODCs to establish robust Basis of Estimate (BOE) narratives.
• Rate Application & Financial Controls: Apply approved forward pricing rate agreements (FPRAs), provisional billing rates, overheads, fringe benefits, and G&A pools accurately within pricing models.
• Subcontractor Pricing Integration: Coordinate with procurement teams to issue pricing data calls to subcontractors, evaluate their cost summaries, and integrate their inputs into the prime contractor proposal.
• Audit & Review Readiness: Generate compliant volume narratives and support internal review milestones (such as Red and Gold Team reviews) to prepare the pricing volume for potential government audits or clarifications.

This will be a W-2 position and will be virtual / remote.
