AI Engineer
- Arlington, VA About the Role Join a forward-thinking team as an AI Engineer, driving innovation in Artificial Intelligence, Large Language Models (LLMs), and agentic AI systems. You'll architect, build, and deploy cutting-edge AI solutions leveraging advanced analytics platforms like Palantir Foundry and Vantage. As a key Agile team member, you'll solve complex technical challenges that directly support critical mission objectives. This is a unique opportunity to work on high-impact projects, collaborate with top-tier professionals, and shape the next generation of AI capabilities. Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance. Responsibilities
- Architect, train, and fine-tune enterprise-scale LLMs
- Develop and deploy agentic AI systems for complex data workflows
- Integrate LLMs with operational data and analytical pipelines
- Build Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) capabilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable AI solutions
- Drive AI modernization initiatives and enhance network capabilities
- Stay current with advancements in generative AI and agentic architectures
- Develop content and present technical briefings to senior leaders
- Lead Integrated Product Teams (IPT); manage and resolve user tickets Required Skills and Experience
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Management Information Systems, or related discipline (or relevant experience)
- 5+ years technical experience building and deploying LLMs (e.g., GPT, Llama, PaLM) in production
- Strong background in agentic AI, autonomous agents, or multi-agent systems
- Proficient in Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
- Hands-on with Palantir Foundry/Vantage or similar analytics platforms
- Experience in data modeling, ontology design, and pipeline orchestration
- Demonstrated success launching agentic AI solutions
- Experience in Agile/Scrumban environments Preferred Skills
- Integration of AI/ML models with enterprise data platforms
- Experience with prompt engineering, RAG, or AI workflow automation
- Knowledge of security, compliance, and responsible AI in enterprise settings
- Familiarity with ADVANA, Palantir MAVEN, or Azure Data/AI stack (Databricks, Synapse, Data Factory)
