SAIC is seeking a cybersecurity systems administrator to support the Space Systems Command to develop, deploy, modernize, and expand the program and its customers. We are looking for a detail-oriented cybersecurity administrator to be responsible for desktop, mobile, and network security, troubleshooting network access and implementing network security policies and procedures at our organization.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical base who can identify the problem and build a hardened solution.

We are looking for a detail-oriented cybersecurity administrator to be responsible for desktop, mobile, and network security, troubleshooting network access and implementing network security policies and procedures at our organization.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct in depth technical scans on hardware, operating systems, and software to identify system vulnerabilities
- Perform necessary system configuration tasks on Linux and some Windows machines to mitigate vulnerabilities
- Serve as the primary ISSO in a TS/SCI Special Access Program for Space System Command in Colorado Springs at multiple sites.
- Install, configure and maintain cybersecurity tools, including Trellix, HBSS, ACAS, and Solarwinds
- Perform installation, configuration, and troubleshooting tasks to create a more secure and hardened ecosystem for software and systems
- Maintain excellent documentation of all technical material
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve mission objectives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field and 14 or more years of relevant experience; master's degree in computer science or related field and 12 or more years of relevant experience. Experience will be accepted in lieu of education.
- Active Top Secret or DoE Q clearance with SCI eligibility (must be eligible for SCI indoctrination within first 3 months of start date) and be able to obtain and maintain TS/SCI
- CompTIA Security + or equivalent certification required for DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2 compliance
- 7 or more years of cybersecurity experience
- Experience building hardened solutions for systems and software from the ground up
- Strong experience with Linux based operating systems
- Experience working with SCAPs, STIGs, ACAS, Nessus, etc.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Experience writing basic scripts in languages like Python, Powershell, or Bash
- Experience using tools to scan source code such as Fortify
- Experience working with Networking tools like Cisco products
- Experience working with Virtualization tools like VMware, VirtualBox, or various hypervisors
