Cloud Applications Engineer III

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Applications Engineer III to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing, software development, and systems engineering. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud platforms, containerization, and modern software development practices.

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-based applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate application deployment processes
• Monitor and optimize application performance and scalability
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends
• Mentor and guide junior engineers

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• 3+ years of experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Proficient in at least one programming language (Java, Python, Go, etc.)
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and best practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication and collaboration skills

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack)
• Experience with agile development methodologies

Active Secret clearance required. TS/SCI clearance with polygraph preferred.

This position is eligible for remote work with occasional travel required.
