AWS CLOUD ENGINEER-JOB DESCRIPTION
Seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to join our team supporting the U.S. Department of War (DoW) mission partners. In this role, you will be responsible for building, administering, and maintaining the AWS cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate has a strong background in core AWS infrastructure services, including networking, identity management, and automation.
Key Responsibilities
• Account & Identity Management: Automate the creation of new AWS accounts and establish baseline IAM Roles and Policies for users and services
• Configure and manage traffic flow using Application Load Balancers and Network Load Balancers.
• DNS Management, SCCA Platform Administration, VDSS/VDMS Implementation, Compliance & Governance
Required Qualifications
• Hands-on experience with core infrastructure services including IAM, VPC networking, load balancing and DNS.
• Maintaining infrastructure using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Must possess a baseline certification meeting IAT Level II or higher (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+, CISSP).
