Job Description

Position Description:

We are seeking a Senior Oracle Functional Analyst to support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) and the Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI), a large scale Oracle E Business Suite (EBS) federal financial management environment hosted in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

This role is a functional SME focused on standardizing and governing posting logic across DAI financial modules to support the Accounting Treatment Manual (ATM) framework, mapping Oracle EBS SLA/AutoAccounting/Account Generator rules to USSGL/SFIS/SLOA requirements and supporting continuous compliance, audit readiness, and traceability.

This position is remote and can be located anywhere in the Continental US.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

. Lead functional analysis design for standardizing transaction treatment, posting logic, and rule application across B2R, P2P, O2C, A2R and related modules.
. Map SLA, AutoAccounting, and Account Generator derivations to USSGL, SFIS, SLOA; document event classes, attributes, tie points, and controls at the attribute level.
. Produce and maintain a Posting Logic Crosswalk to support validation services, dashboards, and audit evidence packages.
. Perform root cause analysis of posting anomalies and deliver remediation recommendations and traceable updates to ATM/crosswalk artifacts.
. Partner with DevSecOps and Data Analytics teams to support compliance checks, regression tests, and RCA logic.
. Contribute to training materials, SOPs, and knowledge transfer to enable government teams to update and maintain ATM and posting logic independently.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

. 5+ years functional experience with Oracle EBS Federal Financials 12.2 (B2R, P2P, O2C, A2R, TL), including subledger to GL posting logic and event derivations.
. Deep knowledge of USSGL, SFIS, SLOA, Treasury TFM and federal financial processes; ability to trace and correct mis mapped events and tie points.
. Proven experience authoring functional specs, acceptance criteria, and UAT scenarios; strong documentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
. Demonstrated ability to create/maintain posting logic crosswalks and support audit traceability and compliance reporting.
. Ability to collaborate across functional/technical teams and with auditors; excellent communication skills in structured federal programs
. Ability to obtain/maintain IT II Non Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3) investigation suitability.
Desired qualifications/non essential skills required:
. Prior work in DAI or similar federal environments; familiarity with agency level reporting tie points and feeder transaction flows.
. Experience supporting posting logic modernization, audit readiness initiatives, and compliance dashboards.
. Knowledge of JSON/relational modeling for rule artifacts; exposure to DevSecOps/test automation concepts (for traceability and regression).
. Analytical, detail oriented, and methodical; able to translate functional requirements into precise mapping and tests.
. Strong facilitator and communicator-comfortable bridging the functional technical divide and engaging diverse stakeholders.
. Proactive and dependable in compliance driven environments; resilient in iterative remediation cycles.
