Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Cryptography Subject Matter Expert to join our team in Laurel, MD. This role involves providing expert guidance and support on cryptographic systems, algorithms, and protocols to ensure the security and integrity of sensitive information.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement cryptographic solutions to protect sensitive data.
• Provide technical expertise and consultation on cryptographic standards and best practices.
• Review and evaluate cryptographic systems for vulnerabilities and compliance with security policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cryptographic technologies into existing systems.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops on cryptographic principles and practices.
• Stay current with emerging threats and advancements in cryptography to ensure ongoing security.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cryptography and information security.
• In-depth knowledge of cryptographic algorithms, protocols, and standards (e.g., AES, RSA, ECC, TLS).
• Experience with cryptographic libraries and tools (e.g., OpenSSL, Bouncy Castle).
• Strong understanding of cryptographic key management and certificate handling.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Clearance Requirement: Secret clearance required.
