Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Cryptography Subject Matter Expert to join our team in Laurel, MD. This role requires deep expertise in cryptographic systems, algorithms, and protocols to support critical national security programs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement cryptographic solutions for advanced security systems
• Analyze and evaluate cryptographic protocols for vulnerabilities and weaknesses
• Provide technical guidance and support to engineering teams
• Conduct research on emerging cryptographic technologies and standards
• Prepare detailed technical documentation and reports
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cryptographic solutions into system designs
• Ensure compliance with relevant security policies and regulations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in cryptography and security systems
• In-depth knowledge of symmetric and asymmetric cryptographic algorithms
• Experience with cryptographic protocols such as TLS, IPsec, and PKI
• Strong understanding of cryptographic key management and distribution
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, secure environment
• Active Secret clearance required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with post-quantum cryptography
• Knowledge of cryptographic hardware modules (HSMs)
• Familiarity with FIPS 140-2 or 140-3 standards
• Experience working on classified programs
