Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cryptography Subject Matter Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cryptographic principles, algorithms, and their practical applications in securing sensitive information. This role requires expertise in both classical and modern cryptographic techniques, including symmetric and asymmetric encryption, hash functions, digital signatures, and key management.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement cryptographic solutions to protect sensitive data and ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
• Conduct cryptographic assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
• Provide technical guidance and support to developers, engineers, and other stakeholders on cryptographic best practices.
• Stay current with emerging cryptographic standards, technologies, and threats to ensure the security of our systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cryptographic solutions into existing and new systems.
• Mentor and train junior cryptographic professionals to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cryptography, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cryptography, with a strong focus on algorithm design and implementation.
• In-depth knowledge of cryptographic standards such as AES, RSA, ECC, SHA, and HMAC.
• Experience with cryptographic libraries and tools, such as OpenSSL, Bouncy Castle, and Crypto++
• Strong understanding of cryptographic protocols, including TLS/SSL, IPsec, and PKI.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Security clearance required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with quantum-resistant cryptography and post-quantum algorithms.
• Knowledge of cryptographic applications in specific industries, such as finance, healthcare, or government.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC.
