Location: Washington, DC

Description:
On-site in Washington, DC Our client seeks a Cloud Engineer to architect, build, and design solutions that integrate public cloud services. The ideal candidate will have experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and a strong understanding of cloud-native technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement cloud infrastructure and services
• Optimize cloud environments for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud solutions into applications
• Implement security best practices and compliance measures
• Monitor and manage cloud resources and services
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for cloud-related issues

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Understanding of networking and security principles in cloud environments
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or GCP Professional Cloud Architect
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Stackdriver)
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and serverless computing
