Description:
Seeking a CI/CD Pipeline Developer to support enterprise-level software delivery efforts by designing, building, and maintaining automated GitLab-centered CI/CD pipelines. This role enables efficient, secure, and scalable delivery workflows for both Java and C++ development teams.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Architect, develop, and refine CI/CD pipelines with a heavy emphasis on GitLab-centric workflows, automation, and integration efficiency
- Collaborate with Java developers, C++ developers, testers, and infrastructure teams to optimize code integration, testing, and deployment speed
- Implement effective branching strategies, merge processes, and version control standards using Git and GitLab.
- Enhance developer experience through automation, pipeline optimization and consistent build/test environments
- Support containerization and orchestration using tools such as Docker, Podman, Kubernetes/OpenShift
- Maintain comprehensive documentation covering pipeline design, configurations, and workflow processes.
Required Skills:
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Solid understanding of Git workflows and contemporary branching strategies.
- Experience supporting Java-based applications or working directly with Java development teams.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code technologies including Terraform, Ansible, or Helm.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse technical teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented, with a commitment to scalable and secure software delivery.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must have an Active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain an Interim Secret clearance
Desired Skills:
- Extensive hands-on experience building, orchestrating, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in GitLab
- Background in full-stack Java development or deep familiarity with Java-based architectures, build systems, and dependency management ecosystems
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline and three (3) years or more of relevant experience
