Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist/Engineer to join our team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling. You will be responsible for extracting insights and knowledge from large datasets, developing predictive models, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive data-informed decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement data pipelines to collect, process, and analyze large volumes of data
• Develop and deploy machine learning models to predict trends and identify patterns
• Create visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings to stakeholders
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to understand requirements and deliver actionable insights
• Stay current with industry trends and technologies in data science and machine learning

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in data science or machine learning
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java
• Experience with data manipulation tools (SQL, Pandas, etc.) and visualization tools (Tableau, Matplotlib, etc.)
• Strong understanding of statistical methods and machine learning algorithms
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, etc.)
• Knowledge of deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.)
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
