Job Description
Eagle Harbor, LLC, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, and a Federal Government Contractoris seeking a Help Desk Support Technicianto support our federal client in Lorton, VA.
Responsibilities :
Monitor a common inbox for incoming user requests for assistance
Setup various data collection and delivery jobs in our jobs management framework based on user requests.
Setup collection functions on user end systems.
Create and manage user accounts and user access.
Research user technical and policy questions as needed.
Respond to various technical and policy questions submitted by users.
Troubleshoot and resolve data collection and delivery issues based on alerts or user assistance requests.
Perform certain critical functions as an after-hours duty person on a rotation
Requirements:
U.S. CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
Ability to pass agency background investigation
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or similar discipline. Four (4) years of related experience may be substituted for education.
A minimum of four (4 ) years of design and management of progressively more complex telecommunication and local and wide area networks (LANs/WANs) using similar software and hardware as described above.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong customer service skills
An understanding of an IT environment
Ability to utilize custom software in support of the customer
Position located in Lorton, VA and is ON-SITE FULL TIME - FIVE DAYS A WEEK
