Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Cryptography Subject Matter Expert to join our team in Laurel, MD. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cryptographic principles, algorithms, and their practical applications in securing information systems.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement cryptographic solutions to protect sensitive data and communications.
• Conduct security assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential weaknesses in cryptographic implementations.
• Provide technical guidance and support to developers and engineers on cryptographic best practices.
• Stay current with emerging threats and advancements in cryptography to ensure ongoing security of systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cryptographic solutions into new and existing systems.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations and training sessions on cryptography and security topics.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cryptography and information security.
• In-depth knowledge of symmetric and asymmetric cryptographic algorithms, including AES, RSA, ECC, and hash functions.
• Experience with cryptographic protocols such as TLS, IPsec, and PKI.
• Strong understanding of cryptographic libraries and tools, such as OpenSSL, Bouncy Castle, and Crypto++
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Clearance Requirement: Secret clearance required.
