Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Cryptography Subject Matter Expert to join our team in Laurel, MD. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cryptographic principles, algorithms, and their practical applications in securing sensitive information.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement cryptographic solutions to protect sensitive data and communications.
• Analyze and evaluate existing cryptographic systems for vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to software developers and engineers on cryptographic best practices.
• Conduct research on emerging cryptographic technologies and trends.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cryptographic solutions into new and existing systems.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations and training sessions on cryptography.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations related to data security and cryptography.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cryptography and information security.
• In-depth knowledge of symmetric and asymmetric cryptographic algorithms, including AES, RSA, ECC, and Hash functions.
• Experience with cryptographic libraries and tools such as OpenSSL, Bouncy Castle, and Crypto++
• Strong understanding of cryptographic protocols and their implementation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Clearance Requirement:
This position requires a Secret clearance. U.S. citizenship is required.
