Description:
This position is for a Cryptography Subject Matter Expert to support critical national security programs. The individual will provide technical expertise in cryptographic systems, algorithms, and protocols. Responsibilities include analyzing cryptographic requirements, developing security solutions, and ensuring compliance with national security standards.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert guidance on cryptographic systems and protocols
• Analyze and evaluate cryptographic requirements for national security programs
• Develop and implement cryptographic solutions to meet security needs
• Conduct security assessments and vulnerability analyses
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cryptographic solutions
• Maintain current knowledge of cryptographic standards and best practices

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in cryptography and information security
• Expert knowledge of cryptographic algorithms and protocols (e.g., AES, RSA, ECC)
• Experience with cryptographic libraries and tools (e.g., OpenSSL, Bouncy Castle)
• Understanding of national security requirements and guidelines
• Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with quantum cryptography and post-quantum algorithms
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and application security
• Experience working on classified programs

Clearance Requirement: Active Secret or Top Secret clearance. Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
