Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Web Application Developer to join our team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing scalable web applications, with expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using modern frameworks and technologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in web application development
• Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and popular front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js)
• Strong understanding of server-side templating languages and JavaScript libraries
• Experience with database systems (SQL, NoSQL) and ORM tools
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
