Responsibilities:

• Perform structural maintenance on aircraft components and systems
• Inspect and repair aircraft structures, including fuselage, wings, and empennage
• Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) to identify defects and determine repair methods
• Fabricate and install structural components using hand tools and power tools
• Document all maintenance activities and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Structures Mechanic or related field
• Secret security clearance required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
• Strong understanding of aircraft structural maintenance procedures and techniques
• Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and NDT equipment
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on specific aircraft types (e.g., B-52, KC-10, etc.)
• Knowledge of FAA regulations and military maintenance procedures
• Certification in NDT methods (e.g., ultrasonic, magnetic particle, etc.)
